Plants Before People was born in 2022 from a shared love of plants, fine wine, and good company. Two friends, tired of the grind of corporate life, decided to turn a passion into a thriving business. But our love for plants started long before our business did—rooted in the memories of childhood.

Jess grew up surrounded by a sprawling, fairytale garden where her mother spent countless hours tending to her beloved plants. She spent her weekends and holidays by her mom’s side, helping her care for their little piece of paradise. That early connection to nature shaped who Jess has become today, and it’s only fitting that her mother now plays a key role as a grower for Plants Before People.

Today, our passion has blossomed into a deep affection for indoor plants. We are committed to providing our customers with a curated selection of gorgeous, uncommon, and rare plants—each one nurtured with the utmost care and love.
